Why study in the USA?

The basic knowledge information that every student wants to have before starting their application process is eligibility criteria and what all documents are required.
  • Valid Passport- The student intending to apply for abroad studies the first thing they need to get is a valid passport. Using this they can apply for the English proficiency test and during the application process, students should have properly scanned copies of the first and last pages of passports, should check the passport validation date, and apply for renewal of passport.
  • English Language Proficiency Tests- There are different kinds of tests needed to be given based on the stream and program you are applying to. The USA accepts IELTS, TOEFL, and Duolingo for the master’s program, and SAT and ACT for an undergraduate program. GRE and GMAT are mostly required for applying to management and business programs as well as GRE help increase your GPA score when you have less CGPA in your undergrad program. On the other hand, LSAT and MCAT are exams conducted to get admission into Law Schools and Medical Colleges.   • Transcripts and marks memos- Students should have all the marks memos right from the tenth to the undergraduate program. They need to have attested certificates of Tenth, Intermediate/ Diploma, individual marks memos of all semesters in the undergraduate program and backlog memos, consolidated marks memos, and original degrees. If the student is pursuing the final year, they can get a course completion certificate from the respective college attested by the college administration.
  • Funding for education in the USA- Students should show the funding documents like loan approval from the bank, income proof of the person, property valuation papers, and a notary signed by the person supporting student education. These documents are required to make sure that student is capable of paying university fees and any kind of emergency during their study in the USA.
  • Letter of Recommendation-  LOR is given by the professor stating about student’s academic and overall performance of the student during their bachelor’s, if the student has work experience, then they should also get a LOR from the company manager. Students need to have 3 LOR which are scanned and sent to the university through the mail. The mail IDs and contact details should be correctly provided so that the university can contact them for feedback. 
  • Statement of Purpose- The SOP is the kind of personal essay written by a student about them-self. It should include the reasons for selecting a particular program or university, and why only in the USA. It should include their educational background and professional experience, knowledge about the program they are applying to, and future career plans.
